5, 3, 2 ... signal received! Welcome to Radio Skylab's 67 program. This is the first part of the special about the novel Contact by Carl Sagan and the homonymous film starring Jodie Foster. Among many other things we talked about what motivated Sagan to write Contact, in what real characters he was inspired, we analyzed the sequence of the beginning, the relationship between the science and religion, about radio telescopes, SETI and the impact on our society if we receive a signal from an intelligent civilization.
