Bethenny Frankel is opening up about a near-death experience.

The former "Real Housewives of New York City" star, 48, revealed on Twitter that she was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of Newton-Wellesley Hospital outside Boston after she suddenly fell ill Sunday.

Frankel said she "had soup, itched & was unconscious for 15 mins" before being transferred to the "ER & ICU for 2 days (with) BP of 60/40," a dangerously low blood pressure that could be life-threatening.

"I couldn’t talk, see, thought I had a stroke & dying & told if 5 mins later I’d be dead," the reality-star-turned-entrepreneur tweeted Monday. "911 & EPI saved me. I’ll never not carry an #epipen."

The scary ordeal was triggered by a previously undiagnosed food allergy that Frankel described as "a rare fish allergy."

Frankel, who founded the Skinnygirl lifestyle brand, added that her recent stay at Newton-Wellesley led to her next projects.

She first said she is going to help improve the facility with new amenities "for really sick people" following her stay.

"Of course my next project is to get them new mattresses from @Casper (because) they have no budget for TVs or comfortable beds," she said.

Frankel also pledged to provide EpiPens to schools and children's organizations.

A social media user pointed out the burdensome cost of the life-saving medication. "If you don’t have insurance they cost between $300-600," to which Frankel replied: "I am all over this. I’ve heard about it and this will be a mission of mine."
