Hiding / Conjunction Moon - Jupiter Dec 2012
Conjunction - Concealment - Reappearance of Jupiter with the Moon.
Two stars are in conjunction when being observed from our planet Earth they are in the same celestial length. Apparently the stars are very close in the sky, although
do not coincide, passing one over the other producing a concealment. The conjunction is one of
the main aspects of the planets and the Moon.
On the evening of December 25, 2012, the sky gave us the wonderful cosmic spectacle of the Concealment from the planet Jupiter through our natural satellite the Moon. But this phenomenon was only visible from the southern hemisphere, since from the northern hemisphere it could be seen as Conjunction.
In our eagerness to spread the work that many fans do every night observing the sky and its phenomena, we present in this opportunity a gallery of photos taken from different latitudes of Chile and the world.
