The actions of EE.

US stocks fall on Friday as energy, technology and internet companies fall. Crude oil is on track to fall for the tenth consecutive day and is trading at its lowest price since March, leading to heavy losses for oil companies in recent weeks. Shares have fallen in the last two days, but are still on track for strong weekly gains.

KEEP THE SCORE: The S & P 500 Index fell 25 points, or 0.9 percent, to 2,780 at 10:10 a.m. Eastern Time. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 184 points, or 0.7 percent, to 26,006. The Nasdaq compound sank 106 points, or 1.4 percent, to 7,424. The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies dropped 21 points, or 1.4 percent, to 1,556.

OIL PATTERN: US benchmark crude lost 1.4 percent to $ 59.80 per barrel in New York. After reaching $ 76.41 per barrel in early October, close to a four-year high, US crude fell 22 percent to its lowest price since March. Brent crude, used to quote international oils, has performed almost as badly. Friday fell 1.9 percent to $ 69.33 per barrel in London.

Exxon Mobil was down 1 percent at $ 80.08 and Chevron was down 1.3 percent at $ 117.81.

GAME OVER? The video game maker Activision Blizzard collapsed after its forecast for the critical Christmas season did not reach the projections of the analysts. Shares fell 14 percent to $ 54.03, and Take-Two Interactive lost 7.5 percent to $ 101.18. Other technology and internet companies also went down. Apple fell 1.5 percent to $ 205.32 and Google's parent company, Alphabet, lost 1.2 percent to $ 1,081. Amazon lost 1.9 percent to $ 1,721.

YELP WALLOPED: Yelp online review company plummeted after it posted weak third-quarter earnings and its forecast for the fourth quarter also missed Wall Street estimates. The company said part of the problem is an advertising model designed to encourage advertisers to test the site without signing a long-term contract. Yelp said it has made its results more sensitive to short-term problems. Their shares fell 27.5 percent to $ 31.54.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE ... A BUNDLE OF CASH: Walt Disney's net earnings were better than expected, as the entertainment giant earned revenue from films such as "Avengers: Infinity War", "Incredibles 2" and the sequel to "Ant -Man. " The stock gained 3 percent at $ 119.51.

PRICE POWER: Wholesale prices in the United States increased by more in six years in October. The Labor Department said its producer price index rose 0.6 percent as prices for gas, food and chemicals rose. Its index has risen 2.9 percent in the last year.

PIPELINE WOES: a federal judge blocked a permit from the Trump administration for the construction of the TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline, pending an environmental review. The long-term pipeline would start in Alberta and transport up to 830,000 barrels per day of crude through half a dozen states to terminals on the Gulf Coast. US District Judge Brian Morris suspended the $ 8 billion project and ruled that the potential impact had not been considered as required by federal law. Environmentalists and Native American groups sued to stop the project, citing property rights and possible oil spills.

The State Department issued a presidential permit for the pipeline in 2008, and after years of legal disputes, President Barack Obama rejected the permit in 2015.

In Toronto, TransCanada shares lost 2.1 percent.

BONDS: Bond prices went up. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note fell to 3.21 percent from 3.23 percent.

CURRENCY: The dollar slid to 113.82 yen from 113.99 yen. The euro fell to $ 1,137 from $ 1,133.

Abroad: Germany's DAX lost 0.2 percent and France's CAC 40 lost 0.7 percent. London's FTSE lost 0.8 percent.

The Nikkei 225 in Tokyo fell by 1 percent and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong fell by 2.4 percent. Seoul's Kospi surrendered 0.3 percent.
