"We're alone?". That is one of the questions that has intrigued Humanity from ancestral times. There are several scientific efforts that try to find, outside our planet, either life or the appropriate conditions for it. The current advances make us think that the answer to this question can finally be known in the coming decades. In this talk the public will be told about all these efforts.

The talk "Beyond the Planet Earth" will be dictated by Patricio Rojo, astronomer of the Department of Astronomy of the University of Chile and President of the Chilean Society of Astronomy (SOCHIAS).
