Finally, tonight, the champions of the world series are back home in Boston. But a champion is back home in Wyoming. And it is our person of the week. This week, the red sox won the world series. Now we welcome the winner of this year's essay contest, Jesse Quist, a tenth grade student from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Journalist: He was chosen from among 13,000 entries. He wrote about his hero, Jackie Robinson. The respect for him was that he was able to endure everything he handled, everything that was thrown at him. He swallowed it and just went out and played baseball. And he showed the world that he deserved to be in MLB. Reporter: Adopted from Korea by a loving family of ten. He does the tasks like everyone else. My job is when I get up in the morning, I just let the dog out, I feed him, I feed myself. Wash the dishes every day. Reporter: He rides a bicycle, plays soccer, runs track, builds with legos and uses a laptop. And watch as Jesse plays in his first basketball game with his team. He told us about his biggest challenge. Definitely the way people react when they see me. You usually do not see a child without arms every day. Wherever I go I'll be watched, pointed. Reporter: Jesse wrote it in his essay. It can be very frustrating to know that wherever you go, there will always be someone who will whisper to you. There is no doubt in my mind that Jackie Robinson experienced the same thing. I have become adept in recent years to ignore the looks, but I still know they are there. I have a big family with seven brothers who help me. They have my back and I have theirs. Reporter: And Jesse, the other champion of the world series, left us with this. You can do what you want to do as long as they push you to do it. So ??????????????????
