Multiple reports and air traffic recordings of UFOs over Ireland
The Aviation Authority of Ireland is investigating a series of unexplained sightings reported by pilots that flew over the west coast of Ireland last week. The incident began on Friday, November 9 when Shannon Air Traffic Control received a call from a British Airways pilot Boeing 787 who was flying from Montreal to Heathrow. At around 6:47 am local time, the pilot radioed to ask the air traffic controllers if they were doing military exercises at the moment he said that his plane was buzzed by a "really bright light" that intercepted his before zooming out to the plane. North "at a very high speed".
Air traffic control reported nothing on the radar.
Two other aircraft also reported having witnessed similar objects in the area at approximately the same time. The audio of those interactions between the pilots and Shannon Air Traffic Control has been posted on YouTube. You can listen to a nearby pilot who suggests that objects can be meteors entering the Earth's atmosphere, noting that several bright objects follow the same path. Then, a third pilot joins and adds: "I'm glad it was not just me."
In response to those sightings, the Irish Aviation Authority issued the following statement to the Irish Examiner:
Following reports of a small number of aircraft on Friday, November 9, of unusual air activity, the IAA has submitted a report. This report will be investigated under the normal process of confidential investigation of events.
We could never know what these pilots saw, given the lack of any other evidence. Even so, this incident adds to the growing body of recent sightings documented by recordings between pilots and air traffic controllers. Does this suggest some kind of strangeness on high, or possibly that the heavens are not as friendly as they used to be?
I always tend to support theories that fix UFO activity and anomalous sightings in military activity or new types of unknown or unmanned aircraft. Given today's somewhat turbulent geopolitical climate, it could simply be that we are glimpsing things to come: hypersonic and space-based wars, government disorientation and a bunch of confused civilians on the ground.
