Meghan McCain, & # 039; Bohemian Rhapsody & # 039; star Joe Mazzello in his parents & # 039; Cancer
Actor Joe Mazzello and Meghan McCain of the "Rhapsody Bohemian" have what she calls "a very unique and dark connection": both took care of their parents until they died this summer of glioblastoma brain cancer.
In "The view"On Friday, McCain said that she and Mazzello had become friends after she discovered that he was chronicling his father's cancer online earlier this year.
In May, Mazzello wrote a profound personal publication in Facebook about the care of his father Joe the day after his death, calling it "a privilege":
"
"
"Caring for my dad in the first months after his surgery two and a half years ago and again during the past year in these extremely difficult ways ... can only be described as a privilege. "It was a great and immense privilege to have a father who loved so much that he wanted nothing more than to be there to help him, and in any way he could, improve this horrible and tragic end of his life."
McCain He shared Mazzello's words in "The View" the next day: "Tears came out of my face because it was so beautiful and the most honest, raw, the way I've heard describe this experience."

McCain's father, Senator John McCain, died three months later at his home in Arizona.
On Friday, McCain thanked Mazzello in person for his candor and said he had given him "great comfort."
"I'm very happy to have given you some comfort, but you've given me solace," Mazzello said of McCain sharing his message on the show. "I received thousands of messages from people who dealt with the same thing ... who gave me so much comfort because there was a sense of community there, and it's very lonely, as you know."

Joe Mazzello joined his co-star of "Bohemian Rhapsody" Gwilym Lee and Rami Malek on "The View" on Friday, November 2, 2018.
McCain said in May that loneliness is one of the reasons why the publication touched her: "I feel very lonely in all this, and I feel that nobody else has this type of cancer and its honesty in this public publication of Facebook. It touched me ... It made me feel so much better. "
Mazzello shared his message for anyone else who is caring for a loved one: "Do not take a day for granted, even if it is difficult."
"To see my father decline and to him simply ... to be taking so many medications that drove him crazy, and to see that physical and mental deterioration was sometimes hell," he said. "It was a hell that would happen again in the blink of an eye if I could get it back." McCain agreed.
"Even if you feel you can not continue, even if you can not see someone who loves to go through something like that, keep watching them and make every moment last," said Mazzello. "Give all the love to whoever you are suffering, every day, and you will not regret it."
