UU.? - President Trump is considering a retired federal appellate court judge who also served on the California Supreme Court as the next US Attorney General. UU, according to reports ... Janice Rogers Brown, an African American and much loved in conservative circles, worked with Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and spoke at the White House about the work in recent weeks, the Sacramento Bee reported. Brown was named to the 11-member United States Court of Appeals in Washington, DC, in 2005 by former President George W. Bush. She was one of the most conservative voices on the court. NEW QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RUSSIAN PROBE: the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and the announcement that his Chief of Staff, Matthew Whitaker, immediately assumed his supervisory role of the Department of Justice, shook Washington and immediately speculation arose about how the change in leadership could affect the investigation of Special Adviser Robert Mueller ... After all, Trump had largely blamed Sessions for the appointment of Mueller and the team of special advisers then investigated the AG for hours as part of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Now Whitaker leads everything in the Department of Justice, including Russian research. Whitaker, who served as a prosecutor for the Southern District of Iowa in the United States, also served as a legal commentator on CNN until he joined the Department of Justice in September 2017. During his tenure on the network and about a month before joining the Department of Justice, Whitaker signed an op. entitled "Mueller's research on Trump goes too far", in which he wrote that Mueller deepening in the finances of the Trump Organization, apart from the election of the president in 2016, was "deeply disturbing to me". - Reported by Nicole Darrah (@nicoledarrah on Twitter)
THE WHITE HOUSE VS. CNN'S JIM ACOSTA: The press pass of the White House correspondent, Jim Acosta, was suspended to access the White House. "Until further notice" on Wednesday, hours after he participated in a round-trip controversy with President Trump ... The press secretary of the White House, Sarah Sanders, affirmed that the suspension of Acosta's press credentials was due to "putting his hands on a young woman who was trying to do her job as an intern of the White House."
The CNN reporter, during a press conference at the White House last Wednesday, had a heated debate with Trump after he asked the president about the migrant caravan. Trump told Acosta to let him do his job. The journalist tried to ask him another question before a White House intern approached him. Trump then said: "That's enough!" Acosta continued trying to talk while he saw the inmate trying to take the microphone. of your hand. He grabbed the microphone, but Acosta did not leave it and there was a brief contact between the two.
CNN said on Wednesday night that Acosta's suspension "was in retaliation for his challenging questions at today's press conference" and claimed that Sanders "lied" in his explanation. The Association of Correspondents of the White House in a statement described the measure as "unacceptable" and urged the White House to "immediately reverse this weak and misguided action." - Reported by Nicole Darrah
DEMOCRATS THAT CELEBRATE 'POLITIC FOOL'S GOLD'?: Who were the main winners in midterm elections on Tuesday? ... If you believe in the Democrats, and in the main media headlines, you could say that the Democratic Party, since it succeeded in taking control of the House. And that means that President Trump's legislative agenda can only affect the obstacles in the next two years and could get stuck in continuous investigations into the alleged collusion of Russia and more by the Democrats who want to oust him. But a remarkable democrat, Bryan Dean Wright, calls the victory of his party "the gold of the political fool" Because the power to shape the country and its legislature rests in the Senate.
If the economy continues to flourish, Democrats will continue to face an uphill battle in their quest to make Trump a one-term president in 2020. Also, if nothing is accomplished in Congress, President Trump will blame one party: the Democrats "obstructionists" . Therefore, the Democratic Party has to walk a delicate line with its power recently recovered in the House. Dems, the experts agree, they must become something more than an "anti-Trump" party. And oh yes, they find a viable candidate to run against Trump.
AS SEEN IN THE FOX NEWSOBSESSION OF DEMOCRATS - "The Democrats have just recovered the House of Representatives after eight years, they're obviously excited, but they do not seem to have any idea how they did it." As of tonight, there really is not a Democratic program or message. "There is only Donald Trump, whom they despise. The whole Democratic platform is him. " - Tucker Carlson, in his monologue about "Tucker Carlson tonight, "on his way out of midterm elections. CLOCK
