$4 Billion & Growing: U.S. Payouts for Vaccine Injuries & Deaths Keep Climbing
$4 Billion & Growing: U.S. Payouts for Vaccine Injuries & Deaths Keep Climbing
- The Facts:
Footage recently surfaced of more than 100 whales caught, trapped, and jailed, waiting to be sold in China for human entertainment purposes.
- Reflect On:
What right do we have to take living, breathing empathetic emotional beings trap them for our own desires? What type of environment are we growing up in that allows and caters to such behaviour? Are we living in harmony?
Recently, drone footage captured shots of over 100 whales trapped in secret underwater ‘jails.’ In total, 11 orcas and 90 beluga whales are illegally being held as captives in what activists are now calling a “whale jail.” It’s the largest number of marine animals to be held in such a way (that we know about), according to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), a UK-based wildlife charity.
Apparently, they are being kept to be sold off to ocean theme parks in China, at a large price. Each whale is estimated to be worth millions, and China has more than 60 marine parks, as well as more than a dozen currently under construction. There is a huge market, one where a number of individuals are sacrificing their own humanity for a profit. This is where empathy needs to come in, we need to feel, think and perceive like another animal. Our lack of ability to empathize with all beings can disconnect us from reality.
It’s a fair question to ask, should we be allowed to capture animals at all? Even for scientific purposes? Should we be limiting our study to ways in which the animals can be observed and studied in their natural environment? If we need a body to examine, can we can take a deceased one? Perhaps we can find more humane ways of going about our study?
Think about how you would feel if you were taken from your family and held against your will? Forced into a life that in no way reflects anything natural. Would you be extremely scared, depressed, and suicidal?

Flouting The Law
While the operation of buying and selling cetaceans for entertainment is strictly illegal – they can only be captured for scientific and educational reasons – the international law banning the activity is routinely flouted. Just take the four companies responsible for these 101 jailed cetaceans, which between them exported 13 orcas to China between 2013 and 2016, an investigation led by local media and the investigative newspaper Novaya Gazeta found. Other companies reportedly utilize a loophole in the law that doesn’t explicitly forbid “renting” whales.”–IFL report

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. In fact, it’s probably happening a lot, on a very large scale in places we have absolutely no idea about. Take for example, divers who discovered large sea creatures chained underwater and trapped inside of small cages. They were exploring the waters near the remote island of Kokoya, Indonesia and came across what you see in the images below. You can read more about this particular story here.

Shaped By The Environment
If you were an extraterrestrial conducting surveillance on our planet, what would you think? If it was me, I’d no doubt be extremely confused by observing so many wonderful people, spreading feelings of happiness, joy, love, compassion, understanding and a service to others type of mentality, while at the same time, also observing war, hate, fear, ego, greed, corruption, the destruction of our planet and a service to self mentality.
Human beings are so unique, and ultimately, I believe the best way to determine our true natural state is to look at it from birth. All organisms are inevitably shaped by their environment -this includes collective consciousness. Their biology, thoughts, feelings and perception of the world are informed by environmental factors. But at the moment a baby is born, it does not no hate or discriminate, nor is it violent: it is simply extremely curious. It’s in a state of joy, discovery, and it doesn’t hold any prejudices and usually has respect for all life. Hate only arises from teaching, brainwashing, false information and propaganda.
As we age, all of us are subjected to a massive brainwashing system, disguised as objective truth, and this system is responsible for influencing our decisions. We are taught competition and survival of the fittest, we are not taught cooperation, we are not taught how to deal with and understand our emotions, and we are not taught how to take care of life.
We are not taught empathy, despite the fact that we seem to be born with it. We are also forced into a lifestyle system, leaving little choice or knowledge about what it is we desire in our own heart of hearts. As much as we have joy and love on the planet, there is also the complete opposite, and aspects of our human experience that a growing number of people no longer desire to experience. One example is the torture, enslavement and even the consumption of animals.
Consumption No Longer Necessary
A lack of empathy is precisely why our planet is home to what could be one of the biggest continuing mass genocides in human history: the killing and consumption of living, sentient, emotional and extremely intelligent animals that share this planet with us.
Many believe, including myself, that there is no justification or reason to harm any animal on this planet. When it comes to this topic, I often think of the work done by Rita Laws, Ph.D., who has completed a great deal of research explaining the traditions of her own people, the Choctaw Indians of Mississippi and Oklahoma.
She explains how, from a spiritual perspective, animals were protectors of humanity by offering themselves as food, clothing, shelter etc. Even with this belief, indigenous people went about it in a humane way. Today, there would be absolutely no support for it. You can read more about her and watch one of her lectures in the article ‘A Native American Perspective on Veganism.’
Today, it’s a completely different story, no longer do we need animals for food and shelter. Today, animals are raised for slaughter in a process that involves torture, rape, separation of families, genetic modification, drug inoculation and more. It’s absolutely atrocious when we choose to face this aspect of ourselves. It’s a reality that not many people are even aware of. If you could see where your food comes from, you probably wouldn’t be able to eat it, and you most likely would not be able to produce it on your own.
Not only are billions of animals unnecessarily killed every single year in North America alone, but this type of activity is contributing to the destruction of our planet, mostly in the form of water consumption and deforestation. Beyond simple empathy and the thought/picture of another suffering, there are several other issues that involve animal rights…
Even more horrifying are the ways we use animals for our own entertainment. We have so much to learn from these beings, they are so much more intelligent and emotional than we often realize. All we ever see in popular Earth documentaries is a “survival of the fittest” mentality, that it’s a war-zone out there. We are rarely shown moments of animal altruism and even cross-species friendship. We are presented with a view of reality that’s completely false and one-sided. This occurs with animals as it does various other topics, like the “war on terror” for example.
Ultimately, they are no different from us and, in my opinion, are much more intelligent. I believe they are here as teachers.
The Takeaway
I would ask everyone who reads this to place themselves in the situation of these ‘whales while knowing just how social and emotionally intelligent they are. How can another human being do something to another living being? And herein lies the problem. Wrongdoings that are happening within the human experience are actually experienced on many different levels, in many different forms. Often, that which we complain about is also done by ourselves in some other form, we simply fail to realize this. When it comes to ‘bad’ experiences on Earth, the key to change is within. By that I mean, the people involved in the trapping of these whales, for example, one, or all of them simply has to have a shift in consciousness, a moment of compassion, or some sort of experience that allows him to take on the emotions of those who they entrap(whales). This is why here at collective we say, change starts within, we are the ones we’ve been waiting for, and nobody is going to change this planet and take care of the animals unless those directly involved have a change of heart. We can help this by creating awareness and talking with those involved from a peaceful and reflective place. This is exactly what’s happening on the planet right now, and although it may not look like it, it’s getting better.
We must continue to speak up for those without a voice. The treatment of animals on this planet is one of the most central things we need to change, it’s one of the most powerful tools and experiences that these brave animal souls chose to take on, so we can change…Take comfort in knowing all of the animals who have suffered, and are suffering, are very special souls, on a very special mission.
