The surviving cast members of "The Brady Bunch" met Thursday at the North Hollywood house where the original series was established, to begin preparations for a planned renovation program on the iconic house.
Cast members - including Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) - gathered for a tour of the house that always takes outside of the show, Newsday reported.
HGTV, in which "A Very Brady Renovation" will be released next year, bought the property in August for "a large-scale review" of the old-fashioned interior of the house. But the network insists that the renovation will not compromise the "instantly recognizable street view".
The interior shots of the television series were filmed in a different place: Paramount Studios, Stage 5 in Hollywood. "The Brady Bunch," originally published on ABC from 1969 to 1974, was widely considered a hallmark of American family-oriented television.
"What's so exciting about this project is that we're creating one of the most iconic homes of many of our viewers' childhoods," said Loren Ruch, senior vice president of programming and partnerships at HGTV.

The house went on the market in mid-July for an initial price of almost $ 1.9 million. Maureen McCormick, who played "Marcia" in the series, said People she considered bidding for the house, but the "great players" made her reconsider.
"When all this happened, I must say that I really thought: 'Gee, I'd like to buy that house,'" he said.

The former * NSYNC member, Lance Bass, said in early August that he was willing to buy the house before being overcome by a "Hollywood studio" with "unlimited resources".
"A Very Brady Renovation" will debut in September 2019. The network said it will launch behind-the-scenes images of the first day of production in the near future.
