What we know about mail bombs sent to former presidents and prominent democrats
Researchers are frantically searching for clues after a growing list of suspicious packages They were intercepted throughout the country, either on the way or delivered to the main Democratic figures, including two former Democratic presidents, and others.
As Thursday noon, the police authorities have confirmed that at least 10 devices have been found.
On Wednesday, officials said all packages contained an explosive device, adding that similar packages could still be there.
The FBI, ATF, Secret Service, Postal Inspection Service of the United States, New York Police and other authorities are investigating.

A suspicious device is Found in the house of billionaire philanthropist George Soros.
His home is located about 50 miles north of Manhattan, in the city of Katonah, in Westchester County, New York.
It was discovered that the device was a pipe bomb loaded with explosive black powder and is believed to have been delivered by hand to the suburban home of Soros.
The bomb was found by a property keeper for the billionaire, a source in the law said. The caregiver told the investigators that he noticed a suspicious envelope as he walked towards the house. He dropped it in the woods away from the residence and called the Bedford Police Department, which sent the agents to the scene.

Bedford police said the investigation was turned over to the FBI's Joint Task Force on Terrorism.
Soros, 88, was not at home when the device was discovered and no one was injured in the incident.

The Secret Service said in a statement that it was addressed "to former first lady Hillary Clinton in Westchester County."
Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have a house in the suburb of Chappaqua, where they have lived since they left the White House in 2000.
Former President Clinton was in his house at the time the package was found, according to a source familiar with the situation, who also emphasized that the package was examined and discovered outside the residence.

First Lady Melania Trump also condemned the attacks, speaking at the same event moments before her husband.
"We can not tolerate these cowardly attacks and strongly condemn all those who choose violence," he said.

Sources familiar with the investigation shared new information about the package that had been sent to Holder, which was found in Florida.
Like the package that was addressed to Brennan, the Holder package had a response speech to Debbie Wasserman Shultz, a Democratic congresswoman and former chair of the Democratic National Committee.
The Holder package could not be delivered for any reason, the sources said, and was finally sent to Wasserman Shultz in Florida. It is not clear exactly why the package addressed to Holder could not be delivered.

"We have now confirmed two additional packages, both directed to Rep. Maxine Waters, which are similar in appearance to the other packages," the source said.
Waters first package was confirmed by the congresswoman in a statement earlier in the day, and it is believed that the second was found in Los Angeles, where the California congresswoman has an office.
At the end of the day on Wednesday, there were a total of seven packages confirmed by the police.

The security personnel in the lower Manhattan office of Robert De Niro's production company called the NYPD because they had seen a suspicious package addressed to the Oscar winner.
The package, found in the mail room of Tribeca Productions, was similar to those recovered on Wednesday.

The suspicious package found in De Niro's office was removed and transported to the rank of New York police at Rodman's Neck in the Bronx in a truck bomb. A source for law enforcement told ABC News that it appears to be from the same sender as the previous packages.

Former Vice President Joe Biden seems to have become the latest high-profile Democratic target, as multiple sources tell ABC News that a package was found for Biden at a postal facility in New Castle, Delaware. It had similarities with the other packages that recovered during the last three days.
The FBI and ATF responded to the installation as part of the ongoing investigation of improvised explosive devices sent to high-profile figures this week. The authorities now believe that this is a ninth package linked to the investigation.
10:35 a.m.
The FBI posted on Twitter that it found the discovery of a second device targeting Biden, which was also found in the state of residence of the former vice president, Delaware.
