They are then transferred to the INVOcell device, which is transferred to a woman's vagina. The vagina acts as an incubator and transports the embryo for 5 days. Then a doctor removes the INVOcell and the embryo is implanted in the uterus of the same woman.
While effortless IVF typically involving the same female that provides the egg and carrying the embryo, IVF without reciprocal effort involves a female who provides the egg and the initial incubation environment, while another carries the embryo full term in a pregnancy.
Does that mean that two women can be pregnant with the same baby?
