          The New Jersey police found a woman who claimed she did not know who she was, only that she had had a car accident a year ago and had been walking east since then.

A woman approached New Jersey police on Tuesday without remembering who she was, and authorities are seeking public help to help her find out.
Police in Norwood, about 50 miles northeast of Morristown, met the woman, who said she had been in a car accident in Washington state a year ago and had been walking eastward ever since.
The woman, according to State police could not identify themselves, but said she was a veteran who could have served in Bosnia.
Officials posted a photo of the woman in an effort to discover who she is. She is described as a white woman between 40 and 50 years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The woman is 5 feet 6 inches tall and is believed to weigh about 160 pounds.
The authorities request that anyone with information about this woman contact the Norwood Police Department at 201-768-0850.
