Solved case
It all began on June 3, 1947, when the report of the discovery of the crash of an alleged unidentified flying object was found, which, according to the first indications, happened near the town of Roswell, New Mexico, as far as the military authorities, not knowing how to handle what happened there, they had the idea of showing their faces and mentioning that it had been about the fall of a "flying saucer" (in those times it was equivalent to saying extraterrestrial spacecraft). The media learned until June 7, the next day the news had spread everywhere.
However, later the same military authorities denied that it was an extraterrestrial ship, saying that it was actually a meteorological balloon. But fans of UFO and alien stories would not allow the myth to die so easily. In those years the authorities allowed the urban legend to grow to distract the American population from the great problems they suffered. Over the years some "researchers" and "ufologists" magnified the myth, but all this would come to an end (partially) several decades later with the declassification of the secret files of the "Blue Book" and other federal documents.
Thanks to these declassifications, it was learned that this incident was really only about Globe No. 4 of the Mogul Project, which was aimed at detecting the presence of Soviet nuclear weapons at high altitudes in the atmosphere. This demystification was rejected by ufologists and followers of the myth of the crash of the UFO, because they alleged that said UFO crashed with its extraterrestrial crew in that area, and that according to the rumors of the people themselves, were recovered by the military.
However, this rumor was discarded when the investigator Nick Redfern announced a terrible and unusual event; that the alleged bodies of the alleged extraterrestrials recovered in that apparent accident, had actually been the bodies of two Japanese prisoners of war who wore special suits designed to withstand the high pressures and lack of oxygen at those great heights, which They traveled in a small cabin that carried the balloon and had been used as an experiment.
That ended the extraterrestrial myth of the famed Roswell incident, but today is part of its folklore, the legends of this town that lives on tourism and the sale of souvenirs, which like many other legends will remain present in the culture of that place. Legends of this kind are still present in all those who still believe that we are not the only ones in the universe, even though they have no evidence of that.
The moral is that it does not matter to believe that we are not the only ones in the universe, that is obsolete and outdated, the only thing that would matter would be to show that we are not alone, but until then there is not, so we must do responsible for what touches us in this world. And whoever says otherwise, to prove it.
