The incredible story of the "black Jesus" of the 1960s

  • The facts:

There are large research groups that show the ups and downs of cannabis. Yes, much of that contradicts itself in many ways, but science is never so sharp and dry. Simply, cannabis has negative side effects, but do they outperform professionals?

  • Reflect on:

Do you have an extreme pro or anti stance on cannabis? If so, why? Can we recognize the pros and cons of cannabis and be truly open to them without being unchained? Are we open to explore spirituality without substances?

Here in Canada, cannabis was recently legalized Basically, it is much easier and accepted to make the use of Cannabis and its recreational use much easier. Let me be the first to say that I feel this is a good thing, since I do not think the plant should have been illegal to begin with.

However, I think this is a bit of a bait and a change by the government. We could talk days about how this is simply a great government control / gain tactic, a great fiscal opportunity and, ultimately, will further control the medical part, etc. But we will leave it for another discussion. In fact, in a few weeks, I'm interviewing an incredibly well-informed figure in this space on the subject and much more about The podcast of collective evolution. So stay tuned.

Today, I simply want to explore some of the effects on the health of cannabis, since I have discovered that every time you have such an extreme polarity around something, you get extreme beliefs, misinformation and falsehoods from both sides. For example, someone contacted us by email the other day simply because in one of our articles We affirmed that it was a good idea not only to take cannabis medicines all the time when you feel depressed, but also to look for other forms of help. The person who sent an email was quite angry because they felt we were saying that cannabis was bad. Meanwhile, all we said was that "medicine" should not be taken every day.

The point is that some will make you think that it is the devil, while others think that there is not a single negative side effect. Both are false As the video will summarize below, "it is totally wrong to say that there are no negative effects to health". But are these effects on health as bad as other common substances? No. So, let's base this conversation and look both ways objectively, since that's important.

A quick note on the spiritual aspects of cannabis

Before going into the health effects a little more in the video below, I want to mention two quick things that come up a lot.

Many times people will assume my spiritual knowledge, the quiet way of being or the state of consciousness must come from smoking marijuana or doing some psychedelics. This is fair, since this is CULTURE being pushed aggressively. Intuition comes from psychedelics. If that were the case on a large scale, we would see a massively spiritual world, but we do not do it because it is not so simple. This is, unfortunately, a culture of "curing everyone" that has got a little out of control and makes new psychedelics can get lost or confused with them. If we stay on land, on ANY subject, we can help many more people.

For my trip, I did not grow up trying cannabis or using psychedelics. The experimentation with cannabis arrived a little later. Everything I know now, in a spiritual sense, comes simply from reflecting and practicing meditation and inner work. I have achieved "achievements" of meditation that you learn to carry into daily life in an incredible way. It is not complicated, it only requires some practice.

Many times people claim that smoking cannabis connects them with God or with their consumer. This is a fair thing because, from experience, I feel that cannabis can help calm the mind to some extent. If you are a person with a very active mind, smoking cannabis can show you what it is like to have a less active mind. This can certainly be a good thing, but there is more to this image.

For me, I have experimented multiple times with different strains, and I have also ventured into edibles (I knew that they would not produce that result hahaha) and all I can say is that, for me, this does not connect with oneself . or overcome. Nor was this the kind of "quiet mind" that comes from meditation. Again, does it quiet your mind in some way? Yes. But something ... is missing ... so to speak, when we are talking about true connection. It was not the same connection as in my normal waking state or in my meditation states.

This led me to want to explore more about why people felt that way. Of course, in my direct experience, and I really do not intend to offend here or anything that I feel is an important conversation, but most people who claimed that they felt that this "deep connection" were not meditators or practiced that nature. Intuitively, I felt that it simply came from the lack of knowledge and experience of what it really is to connect with your true self or higher self. Once again, what I feel and know from experience is that what we feel when we smoke cannabis is a calmer mind. To keep in mind, I can not say that anyone can connect to himself with cannabis, as I imagine some can.

But I've been around people when they smoked, and their energy in general was not resonating in a place that was so "high", but more sedated and relaxed. This did not remind me of the energy of being around a group of meditators, for example. And this is what I mean by "something is missing". Energy, the state of being, is simply not the same.

So, why do I say this? Why mention this? Simply because I want to encourage those who seek to deepen and find true inner peace in their waking life, to develop the necessary practices that really help them get there.

It feels as if now, at this moment, and moving towards 2019, the "tendency", if it so wishes, evolves towards internal work. Less we will be pacifying and medicating (with things like food, sex, cannabis, alcohol, etc.) in a sense, and much more seek to solve our challenges and internal confusion. The substances that we use can continue to be consumed for periods as we continue to explore this internal work, it is not about having anything against them, for some of us, this helps us to go through more difficult experiences at this time, but we must also look for Do the real inner work that helps us evolve beyond these challenges, or else we will be pacifying our whole lives.

What can help us explore ourselves? I really recommend committing to a 10-day meditation practice of only 10 minutes a day, as it can provide enough information on how this can be seen and can prompt greater practice and understanding of what it is. For those who want a little more food for thought, watch this.

OK, enough of that, let's jump next to the investigation of things.

Cannabis is healthy?

All of the research that Mic refers to and the links to support his work can be found in the description of the video on YouTube.

The Takeaway

As you may have noticed in the video. Yes, cannabis smoke, like others, is harmful. It seems that cannabis is slightly addictive or that people can make it habitually addictive, but it is significantly less addictive than other substances such as smoking or alcohol. Is it an entry drug? Maybe a little, but why do we ignore alcohol as an entry drug?

In a spiritual end, we really try to develop that practice that all the research and wisdom tested by time have always shown that it is the path to inner peace. Meditation! Start small and simple if you are intimidated. The point is, start!
