The famous 15-foot gator called & # 039; Chubbs & # 039; Return to the Florida golf course.

A famous "giant" crocodile nicknamed "Chubbs" prepared for another round of golf over the weekend.

The gator of almost 15 feet went viral in 2016 after a casual walk on the lawn at the Buffalo Creek golf course in Palmetto, Florida, while the surprised golfers watched. Later, Charles Helms, a resident of Sarasota, shared a short clip of the "monstrous" creature on social media, and the "dinosaur" instantly became a celebrity on social media.

"This alligator was so big that it only moved slowly about 100 feet at a time before it had to lie down and rest, so it probably was not as dangerous as it could have appeared." An alligator expert can refute that; they told me, "Helms he told Golf.com in May 2016.

This weekend, the famous resident returned to the golf course. Wise Stryczny told Fox News that he saw Chubbs on Friday while playing golf in Palmetto with his father.

"You never know what you are [going to] find on the golf course, "Stryczny posted on Facebook A day later, sharing a 10-second clip of the huge crocodile that passed by his golf cart. The video, which shows the crocodile walking on the grass of Buffalo Creek before resting, has been seen more than 2,400 times until Tuesday night.

Several people commented on the post with disbelief.

"No, is that real?" Asked a Facebook user.

"That thing is giant! This is about to go viral," added another.

"Welcome to Florida," said one resident.

Ken Powell, general manager of Buffalo Creek golf course, previously he told Fox 13 Chubbs is a frequent visitor.

"That's the first alligator I saw when I got here," Powell explained. "This is real."

While the crocodile is an exciting sight, Powell asks customers to keep their distance.

"We just do not want anyone here trying to take him in. He can live his life here, it does not hurt anyone," Powell said.

It seems that the crocodile has existed for years. In 2012, the Buffalo Creek golf course shared several photos of what appears to be Chubbs crossing the lawn.
