Acting anonymously, the Detroit police made a surprising discovery of dozens of baby corpses hidden inside several funeral homes.

According to anonymous information from an anonymous source, the Detroit police conducted a series of raids on funeral homes and discovered a situation that was due to a horror movie.

Since then, Detroit police have launched "extensive investigation" at other funeral homes after finding dozens of baby corpses hidden inside at least two of them.

"This is deeply disturbing", The police chief of Detroit, James Craig he said at a press conference, hours after the police raided the Perry funeral home and allegedly seized 63 fetuses or children's bodies, more than half of which were packed in boxes without refrigeration, according to the WaPo.

"We want to understand the reasons: is it financial gain? If so, how? Who knew or who else is involved in this?

The raid on the Perry funeral home comes just a week after police raided another funeral home in which the bodies of 11 babies were found hiding behind a false ceiling designed to deceive the authorities.

"I would like to look at you and tell you that I hope ... that this is isolated for these two, I can not say that for sure," Craig told reporters shortly after leaving a meeting with the FBI and state investigators.

"This is much bigger than we could know. "

The police are still tight-lipped in the investigation and refused to speculate on why the bodies of so many babies are found in these funeral homes. Craig explained that a single anonymous tip has led to a massive and horrifying discovery.

One might think that funeral homes equipped with cremation systems would not be delayed by a cache of bodies, so the impetus behind hiding baby corpses, literally on the walls, remains a disturbing mystery.

During the raid on the second funeral home, the police found "three non-refrigerated boxes containing the remains of a total of approximately 36 bodies of deceased fetuses or babies," according to a statement from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, "in addition to a Freezer that contains an unknown number of additional deceased bodies. "

In total, the workers of the Office of Corporations, Securities and Commercial Licenses of LARA found:

  • Three non-refrigerated boxes containing the remains of approximately 36 bodies of deceased fetuses or babies plus a freezer containing additional dead bodies. Some of the deceased had dates of death in 2015.

  • The funeral home was unable to certify or file death certificates for the cadavers of fetuses and babies for which they assumed custody before the appropriate governmental authority within 72 hours after death.

  • The funeral home failed to obtain permits for the removal or burial of dead human bodies before burying or discarding them.

  • Perry "obtained the possession or embalmment of the human bodies of fetuses and infants without prior order or authorization expressly by a relative of the deceased or a person entitled to custody," the statement said.

"We will continue to follow the evidence," said Craig. "It's just incredible."

"There is no connection that we know between the two funeral homes, but there are similarities, including the improper elimination of the fetuses," Craig said.

"We discussed having a work group operation to investigate this, although it is preliminary."

Referring to how widespread this problem could be, Craig noted that this problem could spread outside of Detroit.

"We could ask the Michigan State Police for help at some point because part of this investigation can get us away from the city of Detroit," he said.
