In 2008 an Australian man was convicted of possessing child pornography, fined $ 3,000 and required to enter a two year good conduct bond in relation to each offense.
The pornographic content in the possession of man comprises a series of cartoons representing minor characters of The Simpsons participate in sexual acts.
Fast forward a decade, and almost identical content can now be legally transmitted to your living room, thanks to Netflix's Big Mouth animated series.The program has been described as a "scandalous and deliciously vulgar exploration of puberty." The series follows a group of children, "navigating their way through puberty, masturbation and sexual arousal."
One of the characters is a 13-year-old girl named Missy, "a modern response to Lisa Simpson."
According to Vanity FairMissy is innocent, but certainly not perfect:
