How is everybody doing?
I like to post here because there seem to be enlightened people who are curious and open-minded. My family has had some people who show some ability towards the psychic realm, myself included (see my other post about prophetic dreams)
Recently I have been investigating the shamanic side, divination and meditation. My visions have only come in dreams, but since I started "Meditating", I have had some strange experiences. It's almost like seeing the world around you become a little brighter (This is closed eyes in a black-hued room, there's no excuse for this light). I ask for guidance from angels and spiritual guides and I concentrate on breathing.
Finally, a "Veil" is what I call appearing, it is like a swirling gray / black mass right at the edge of sight. Some images start to appear, I mean super random things. One, however, was an African-American man, in the late thirties, I imagine, short forwards, black clothes, gold chain, cane. Very clothes from the 70s. I was standing there, moving in different positions at the edge of the veil. I would see things like the moon, a small stream, an elderly couple, a general map of Washington DC. The other day I even received words. "The waters that come". A phrase just came to my mind.
Sorry to rant, I'm new to this and see if anyone ever experienced this or could lend some advice or question. Thank you,
