Many women saw Kavanaugh wrongly accused, they could be "our husbands, our children", Conway.

President Trump's adviser, Kellyanne Conway, said many women saw Brett Kavanaugh as unjustly accused, and "possibly saw our husbands, our children, our cousins, our co-workers, our brothers."

Conway, in an interview with the correspondent of ABC's White News Chief, Jonathan Karl, on Sunday of "This week" rejected the idea that women are upset by the confirmation of the Senate by Kavanaugh before the Supreme Court on Saturday, in means of accusations of sexual misconduct and sexual assault against him.

"Many women, including myself, in America looked up and saw a man that was, is a [victim of]... Murder of a political nature. "And, also, we looked up and saw in it possibly our husbands, our children, our cousins, our co-workers, our brothers," Conway said.

Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court judge on Saturday night after a tense 50-48 vote in the Senate that was repeatedly interrupted by protesters shouting in the gallery against senators who voted to confirm it.

His nomination had been shaken by decades of accusations of sexual misconduct against him. Christine Blasey Ford alleged that she sexually assaulted her at a small party at home when they were both teenagers. A former classmate from Yale University in Kavanaugh alleged that he was exposed to her at a university party where he was drinking.

Kavanaugh categorically and categorically denied all accusations of sexual misconduct.

Conway also criticized the media for, he said, framing a general narrative about sexual misconduct in which every woman is a victim.

"Let's stop pretending that there is moral authority on the part of some, including many in their industry," said the president's counselor. "I did not tell you, but many in your industry have lost their moral authority to pretend they were seeking the truth, that they were on some kind of investigative mission, when ... they are not even covering their testimony that they have denied under oath that this has happened and they want all women to be victims, all women to close their arms and ... every man is a perpetrator. She continued: "We can not live in a country where democracy and the First Amendment and due process and justice and the presumption of innocence thrive" with such presumptions.

Conway also said that no Supreme Court nominee "has been more separated" than Kavanaugh, except possibly Judge Clarence Thomas, who was also charged with sexual misconduct during his confirmation process.

Karl asked Conway if he was concerned that Kavanaugh could be tainted by half the country that opposed his nomination.

"Justice Kavanaugh should not be seen as contaminated," he said. "He should be seen as someone who went through seven FBI investigations, including this last week, another that was completed last July, had answered 1,200 written questions, had produced about a million pages of documents, O 35 hours of sworn testimony before the Senate. "

He added that "the Supreme Court, thank God, is a sacrosanct institution that can stand a lot, and will resist the fact that there were many political machinations" in the confirmation process of Kavanaugh.
