Look: NASA releases 450,000 gallons of water in a minute
That is a lot of water.
As proof of its "flood system of protection against overpressure of ignition and suppression of sound", NASA launched on October 15 a flood of water, 450,000 gallons to be precise, in just one minute.
The water rose about 100 feet in the air.
The system is used to reduce extreme heat and energy generated by the launch of a rocket, according to NASA.

The test was carried out in the Launch Pad 39B of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, in preparation for the Exploration Mission 1, which will be launched in June 2020.
