The Israeli army says the forces are pursuing a Palestinian assailant who shot and killed two Israelis in a factory in the West Bank.

The army says the troops are in the hometown of the Shweika bomber in the northern West Bank on Tuesday. The army has named the suspect Ashraf Na'alwa. Several Palestinians have been arrested for being interrogated.

The attack on Sunday took place in the industrial zone of Barkan, near the large Israeli settlement of Ariel, where thousands of Israelis and Palestinians work side by side.

The attacker killed Kim Yehezkel, 28, mother of a small child, and Ziv Hajbi, a father of three 35-year-old sons, before fleeing.

Barkan has been touted as a rare example of Israeli-Palestinian coexistence. An Israeli woman who was also shot in the attack says that a Palestinian treated his wounds.
