It makes you think that if this is not a basic reality and we are hooked on a simulation unknown to us, why? How boring our life would be in basic reality if that were true and we were living this without knowing if it is. We could have used it to escape death, maybe space travel, sleep, we heard many ideas. Maybe we rant the humans in the basic reality also with the factors that we could be a simulation of ancestry that is so complex that we think we have consciousness. Obviously, this is all a theory as I said, but I love going for the rabbit hole.
