Gutfeld on Democrats & # 039; change of position on immigration
What happens when the Democrats are in charge? Sometimes they grow.
Chuck Schumer, 2009: "Illegal aliens should not be treated like people who legally enter the United States."
Hillary Clinton, 2015: "I voted several times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to prevent illegal immigrants from entering."
Barack Obama, 2005: "We simply can not allow people to enter the United States without being detected, without documenting, without reviewing."
Wow, who are these fanatics and why are they so bad with illegal immigrants?
Actually, they were only adults because they were in charge. Once.
Now, they are no longer in power, they depend on Republicans to play adults, and they can be children, since thousands of migrants approach us. The fact is that the Democrats need the Republicans to be the bad guys, and I the adults, so that the Democrats can hold silly positions that they do not even like.
We have been watching the Democrats offer emotionally unbalanced views of the caravan, then they would defame you and me for bringing some consequence. But imagine if there were no border restrictions to stop the caravan. Imagine if we just hummed John Lennon's songs while waving everyone. Of course, you would only throw a dozen new caravans, each filled with acquaintances and strangers. Oh, wait, that's already happening. That is a consequence.
So, why are not the Democrats worried?
Because they know that the Republicans and the Border Patrol of the United States will end up being the bad guys and will rescue them.
It's perfect for the Democrats. Because really, everything is about looking good when feeling really bad when telling migrants that they can not stay.
Everything is theater. And in this theater, the evil characters are all those who think critically. And the hero The progressive who pushes emotion without consequences. And he wins because he can feign empathy, he still has an edge and an orange villain to blame him.
It's great to be a child. You can demand the dumbest things and secretly expect your parents not to be listening.
