The unconditional progressive and frequent target of Trump Sen. Elizabeth Warren has published the results of a DNA test that gives "solid evidence" that he had a Native American ancestor that goes back several generations, The Boston Globe informed

The Massachusetts senator provided the results of the tests to the newspaper on Sunday, the Globe said. The test was conducted by Carlos D. Bustamante, a professor at Stanford University and an expert in DNA analysis.



ABC News has not seen the report.



The ascendancy of Warren, a Democrat considered a possible candidate for the presidency in 2020, has been a goal for President Trump, who has repeatedly referred to her sarcastically as Pocahontas.



"We have a representative in Congress who has been here for a long time ... more than you, they call her Pocahontas!" Trump said at an Oval Office event last year honoring speakers of Native American codes for his service during World War II. Its occurrence in an event that paid homage to the Native Americans received a violent reaction.
