Colbert criticizes Trump for congratulating himself on & # 039; behave & # 039; while bombs were being sent
Stephen Colbert was dragging the president Donald Trump for boasting of their own "good" behavior, since suspicious packages containing bombs were mailed to Democrats, CNN and Robert De Niro.
Colbert opened "The Late Show" with a clip from the president's rally earlier this week, which shows how Trump responded to the first of several bombs aimed at the people who criticized him.
"Democrats are for greater taxes, more regulation and more top-down government control, "Trump said on Wednesday, provoking boos from the crowd." And, by the way, do you see how well I'm behaving tonight? This is like ... have you ever seen this?

Well, Colbert said he wanted Trump to know he had noticed and that he was not impressed.
"Throughout his speech, Trump reminded the audience how civilized he was," Colbert said. "Yes. I used to see presidents do it all the time before choosing a guy who is more afraid of Jake Tapper than of Kim Jong Un."
Trump urged the country to unite in "peace and harmony" during the rally, but then changed its tone.
"A lot of the anger we see today in our society is caused by the deliberately false and inaccurate report of the Major Media that I refer to as False News," Trump wrote on Thursday. It has become so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clear its act, FAST! "
Colbert, clearly annoyed by the president's renewed attack on the media, said Trump must clean up his act.
"It's all the media's fault, things have gotten so bad," Colbert said, imitating Trump in a whimpering tone. "In fact, did you see when they reported that I had called rapists and criminals of Mexicans? They are the worst."
Colbert, speaking again as Colbert, added: "He has to take some responsibility for what he says, because when he speaks, people listen."
It's funny how CNN goes down, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current series of Bombs and ridiculously compare it with September 11 and the bombing of Oklahoma City, however, when the critics go crazy and they shout: Simply not presidential!
