About 30 people were transferred to three area hospitals after an apartment collapsed early Sunday, police said.
(iStock)At least 30 attendees at the party were injured early Sunday when a flat collapsed in an apartment complex near Clemson University in South Carolina, prompting guests to fall several feet into the basement of a clubhouse, said the authorities.
The Clemson police received a call around 12:30 a.m. reporting the collapse in the Woodlands of Clemson apartment, said Police Chief Jimmy Dixon. Fox carolina.
The officers who responded found multiple people injured. No one was caught, but about 30 people were taken to three hospitals in the area.
Police said a group that rented the clubhouse organized a private party. Details on the extent of the injuries were not immediately available.
