The grieving parents of a North Carolina teenager who died after a shooting at a school tackled the tragic death on Tuesday morning, according to a local report.

Ashley Mewborn, McKeithen's mother, recalled how she first learned that her son was injured and that he tried to contact the school and the authorities, reported Fox 46.
