A thousand UFO photographs do not make you a ufologist
A thousand UFO photographs do not make you a ufologist
It is very curious to see how in social networks unfortunately quirky characters arise, involuntarily, but their attitudes of fools make them highly irritating, and more when you show them that they are in total error, and they lack the courage and dignity to recognize it .
Now it turns out that some fanatics of the UFO phenomenon are offering courses in social networks to be a "professional ufologist" and even to be a "secret agent". It reminded me of the ads that appeared in variety magazines in the 1980s that offered courses by mail that, according to them, made you a black belt in karate, a private investigator and even a bodybuilder, and everything by mail.
This is the thing. Now it turns out that very unfortunate individuals have taken the initiative to give ufology courses, but what do they know about ufology? We did not put to review their profiles and publications, and did not show anything extraordinary or out of the ordinary of the typical amateur fan of the UFO phenomenon and the myth of the aliens. In short, they know nothing, they are simple ufófilos or ufólatras.
But when we venture to question them about what they supposedly know, and above all, what makes them "professional"? It turns out that they do not know how to respond, and they go off on a tangent, trying to evade giving answers, they try to insult or denigrate those who question them, but they do not give any reason why they should be taken as "professional". In a nutshell, they are not.
These worshipers of false extraterrestrial myths are those who follow the outdated and obsolete ideas of the 1990s on ufology. Obviously they do not know that this is not about collecting photos by kilos, as do the pseudo-researchers, but to solve and demystify each of their cases, denounce fraud and charlatanism, and above all, stop idolizing the mythical extraterrestrial beings.
Taking thousands of photos does not give you any authority or knowledge about ufology, having that property of photographic material only brings out two things; That you have a lot of time to lose it and waste it, and that you do not know anything about photography. The knowledge and authority is given by the resolved and demystified cases, not collecting thousands of photos of badly focused insects and dust particles overexposed to the camera flash.
That is not ufology, and if they believe otherwise, they are very wrong. And there's your problem, in that you're only interested in believing in false myths, not in finding the reality behind those reports of supposed sightings or images of dubious truthfulness. Ufology is no longer venerating false myths, as now does "exopolitics", its new version but more mystified.
If they can not respinder, how many cases have they resolved? They are simply not researchers, they are simple collectors of bad photographs, of poor photographic quality. And they say "An image says more than a thousand words", but that only applies in well-taken photographs, that phrase arose from photographic journalism, where they have to be well focused images and with the correct lighting, not in their lousy insects frames flying.
But if you mix the myth of contactism and channeling, they end up burying their false professionalism in the UFO subject. Nowadays it is known that contactism and channeling were only invented to create expectation among the fans of these myths, and draw the attention of the public to a new ufological market, of people who needed to believe in the spatial beings that watched over them. It is a form of what is called cosmic solitude.
Remember that if someone offers courses or diplomas on these topics, they can be required to show their results and credentials that accredit them being able to teach them. And if they do not, you can report them before the authorities for fraud. It's that simple
