The sheriff asks for volunteers in search of a missing teenager
As Wisconsin authorities desperately search for the missing Jayme Closs, 13, they asked for volunteers on Thursday to look for more evidence.
An Amber Alert was issued for Jayme after the bodies of her parents, James and Denise Closs, were found shot to death Early Monday at his house in rural Barron.
Jayme was believed to be home at the time of the shooting, said Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald. She was then taken from his house by an unknown person, authorities said.

On Thursday, at the sheriff's office, 100 volunteers were asked to show up on Thursday afternoon to help find more evidence.
The volunteers would need adequate footwear and should be able to walk on uneven terrain, authorities said.
The authorities did not disclose additional details about what the search would entail.
"We believe she is still in danger," Fitzgerald said Wednesday.
Authorities have received more than 800 tips, the sheriff said Thursday.
Many questions remain in the mysterious case.
Police had responded to Closs's home after a 911 call was made from a cell phone there, the sheriff said, although no one spoke with the dispatcher.

The authorities of the house of James and Denise Closs were found dead on Monday in Barron, Wisconsin. His 13-year-old daughter, Jayme Closs, was missing.
"There's a little noise, maybe a commotion in the background," Fitzgerald told ABC News of the call.
"We believe that Jayme was at home based on the evidence in our case, part of that 911 call, and part of it remains a part of the active investigation and we can not comment on why we believe that," he said. He said at the press conference on Wednesday.
Police responded to the house about 4 minutes after the 911 call ended, Fitzgerald said.
When the authorities arrived, Jayme had already left.
